We are a displaced rural Kansas family: a military officer Daddy, a sports-television producer Momma, a high-spirited, animal-loving little girl and a tiny baby sister just figuring out her role in this family.

We live in a crowded metropolitan desert area and yearn for the life we are building in the remote Rocky Mountains.
